Thank you for choosing KiddoDream. We strive to provide the best AI-powered storytelling, illustration, and book creation experience for parents, teachers, and children. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines our guidelines regarding credit usage, bulk purchases, subscription renewals, and eligible refunds.

2. Credit Usage & Non-Refundability

No refunds will be processed for used credits.

KiddoDream operates on a credit-based system where credits are consumed to generate AI stories, custom illustrations, avatars, and educational activities. Once credits have been deducted and used to generate content, they are strictly non-refundable and cannot be restored to your account balance under any circumstances.

3. AI Generation & Content Accuracy Disclaimer

AI generated images might not be accurate with story content and face similarity.

Due to the inherent nature and artistic variability of generative artificial intelligence, visual outputs may vary in style, character consistency, background details, or facial resemblance when creating custom avatars. While our algorithms continually optimize for quality and safety, dissatisfaction with artistic style, facial similarity, or minor story discrepancies does not qualify as grounds for a refund or credit restoration. We encourage reviewing prompts and utilizing available customization options to refine outputs.

4. Bulk Purchases & Unutilized Credits

For bulk purchases—such as school licensing plans, educator bundles, or large custom credit packages—if the purchased credits remain completely unutilized, you may opt to request a partial refund.

All partial refund requests for bulk purchases will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and processed at KiddoDream's sole discretion. Depending on the payment method and timing, standard payment gateway processing fees or administrative costs may be deducted from any approved partial refund amount.

5. Subscription & Plan Cancellations

If you are enrolled in a recurring subscription or membership plan, you have the right to cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support.

  • Effect of Cancellation: Cancellation will prevent future auto-renewals. Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, allowing you to use any remaining credits or features associated with your tier.
  • Mid-Cycle Cancellations: Canceling a subscription mid-billing cycle does not automatically entitle you to a pro-rated refund for the remaining days of the term.

6. Technical Glitches & System Errors

We stand behind the reliability of our platform. If a verified technical glitch, server outage, or system error occurs on KiddoDream's end that results in credit deduction without generating the requested story or artwork (and the system did not automatically refund the credits), please contact our support team within 7 days of the incident. Upon verification of our server logs, we will promptly re-credit the affected balance to your account.

7. Print Book Orders (Physical Goods)

KiddoDream allows users to order physical, custom-printed hardcover and paperback books of their generated stories. Because these products are custom manufactured and printed on demand specifically for you:

  • Orders cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded once sent to the printing press.
  • If a physical book arrives damaged in transit, defective, or with manufacturing errors attributable to our print partner, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with clear photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or reprint at no additional cost.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage you to reach out to our customer support team to resolve any billing discrepancies or concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. Unwarranted chargebacks or fraudulent dispute claims may result in immediate suspension of your KiddoDream account and forfeiture of any remaining credit balances.

9. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request or credit inquiry, please contact our support team via email with the following details:

  • Your registered account email address
  • The transaction ID, invoice number, or payment receipt
  • A detailed explanation of the reason for your request

Our billing team typically reviews and responds to all requests within 3 to 5 business days. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
